New Year’s Day Ride to celebrate Ted Moon

Hello friends,
We’re well aware that Christmas is right around the corner and I hope everyone is anticipating it with reverence and joy. It is the advent of Jesus’s birth after all! A holy God stepped humbly into humanity to do what we could not – save us from our sins. The path of Christ’s redemption that ended at Calvary, began in Bethlehem and that is the best news of human history. Glory to God in the highest!
And of course just a week after, we’ll toss our 2017 calendars and open the door on a brand new year. We’d like to invite you to become part of what we hope will be a new tradition by joining us for a ride on January 1. Yes, come brave the elements to hit the trails during this early part of winter. I promise it will be memorable!
So the plan is, every New Year’s Day we would ride no matter what the weather. This year Robert would like to dedicate the New Year’s ride to Ted Moon. As most of you know Ted passed away unexpectedly two weeks ago. Ted loved a good bike ride and the New Year’s day ride was no exception.
Please plan to join us New Year’s Day at 1:30 at the Seven Mile parking lot, Riverside State Park, to celebrate Ted’s life. This will be a no-drop ride and fatbikes are recommended but not required. (Bike Hub and Wheel Sport both rent them so make your reservations early).
If you have any questions or haven’t ridden in winter on trails and would like some tips please feel free to comment below or message me.
We hope to see you there — in the meantime, Merry Christmas everyone! May the blessings of the season fill you with peace, hope and joy.
